Position: Medical Coding Trainer (E&M; and Surgery)

Experience Required: Minimum 4 years of relevant Medical Coding experience

Certification: Mandatory certification (CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent)

Key Requirements:

- Strong expertise in Evaluation & Management (E&M;) Coding
- Extensive knowledge of Surgery Coding
- Experience in training and mentoring coders
- Proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines
- Ability to conduct training sessions, audits, and quality reviews
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in developing training materials and conducting refresher programs

Responsibilities:

- Deliver coding training for E&M; and Surgery specialties
- Assess trainee performance and provide feedback
- Conduct coding audits and identify training needs




- Ensure compliance with industry standards and coding guidelines
- Support quality improvement initiatives and client requirements

Preferred Qualification:

- CPC/CCS/CIC certified
- Prior experience as a Medical Coding Trainer
- Exposure to healthcare BPO/KPO setting
