Social Studies & Computer Science - TGT (Grade VI to Grade X)

We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) Social Studies (SST) & Computer Science to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, effective classroom management abilities, and the ability to deliver engaging, technology-enabled learning experiences.

The candidate will be responsible for teaching Social Studies/Social Science and Computer Science to middle and secondary school students as per the school's academic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Social Studies/Social Science and Computer Science as assigned.
- Follow the prescribed CBSE curriculum, academic plan and school guidelines.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, assessments and teaching-learning resources.
- Use innovative, activity-based and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- For SST, cover relevant areas such as History, Geography, Civics/Political Science and Social Science.
- For Computer Science, teach age-appropriate concepts related to computer fundamentals, applications, programming/coding and digital literacy as per the assigned curriculum.
- Conduct practical activities, projects and technology-based learning sessions wherever applicable.




- Assess students through tests, assignments, projects, practical work and classroom participation.
- Monitor student performance and provide timely academic feedback and remedial support.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity and active classroom participation.
- Maintain effective classroom discipline and create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Integrate digital tools, educational technology and multimedia resources into teaching.

Eligibility

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Social Science / History / Geography / Political Science / Computer Science / IT or relevant discipline, as applicable.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience in a reputed school.
- CBSE school experience will be preferred.
- Candidates should be comfortable teaching both SST and Computer Science at the assigned grade levels.
- Candidates with strong subject knowledge, effective communication and good classroom delivery skills are encouraged to apply.
