Knowledge of the minor repair procedures that can be performed outside of the repair shop.

Knowledge of the methods used to load, unload, and deliver various nonhazardous materials.

Ability to detect problems with the operation of the truck and auxiliary equipment.

Ability to operate trucks and auxiliary equipment such as snow plows,

spreaders,



and power take-off in a skilled, safe, and competent manner.

Ability to load and unload varied types of freight.

Ability to service, clean, and perform minor repairs to trucking equipment.

Ability to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information systems used by the agency, office, or related units.

Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position. American Sign

Language or Braille may also be considered as acceptable forms of communication.
