About The Role Mastercard is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our Decision Management Platform (DMP) team. In this role, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale technical programs that underpin critical decision-making systems across the organization.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, data science, and business stakeholders, to drive strategic initiatives forward. You will be responsible for defining program scope, milestones, and success metrics, while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards. Your leadership will be pivotal in managing dependencies, mitigating risks, and maintaining operational excellence throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies,



with proven experience managing large-scale distributed systems and cloud-native platforms. A background in enterprise applications, modern engineering architectures, and program planning is essential. Candidates should demonstrate excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and the ability to influence without authority.

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and platform operations is highly desirable.

Certification in project or program management such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe SPC, or equivalent is preferred. A solid technical foundation in cloud technologies, AI/ML, data platforms, and distributed data architectures will be advantageous. Candidates must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives concurrently and foster collaboration across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end execution of strategic technical programs across multiple engineering teams, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
- Define program objectives, scope, milestones, dependencies, and success metrics, aligning with organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Data Science, and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful business outcomes.
- Drive planning, execution, risk mitigation, dependency management, and stakeholder communication to maintain program health.
- Establish and maintain program governance, reporting, and executive status updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Facilitate technical discussions and support architectural decision-making to optimize system performance and scalability.
- Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful program delivery.
- Coordinate platform modernization efforts,



cloud migration, AI/ML enablement, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Lead Agile planning activities, including roadmap reviews, PI planning, sprint tracking, and release coordination.
- Monitor program health through metrics, KPIs, and operational indicators, adjusting plans as necessary to meet objectives.
- Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and quality standards throughout all project phases.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation within engineering and product teams.
- Support incident management, postmortem reviews, and corrective actions to enhance system resilience.
