Role: Systems Developer

Role purpose: Support operational tasks and project backlog across Outsystems application development, CRM, and document generation.

Note on hiring: The combination of OutSystems + iForms/Jasper + Dynamics 365 would be extremely niche - few candidates will have all these skills. I would recommend focusing the search on solid fundamentals (SQL, OOP, API knowledge) and treating the tool-specific items as trainable on the job.

1. General Technical Knowledge (Required)

- SQL (writing/debugging queries, joins, stored procedures, performance basics)
- Basic development experience using C#, .NET, JavaScript or a comparable programming

language
- Understanding of relational database design (normalization, keys, indexing)
- Basic REST/SOAP web service concepts (consuming and exposing APIs)
- Comfortable reading/debugging existing code rather than only writing new code

1. Database & Systems Integration (Required)

- SQL Server (T-SQL, views, stored procedures, triggers)
- Understanding of linked servers / cross-platform data integration
- Basic ETL or data migration experience
- Ability to troubleshoot data discrepancies between source systems

1. Analytical & Soft Skills (Required)





- Ability to independently investigate and troubleshoot production issues (root-cause

analysis)
- Strong written communication - documenting workarounds, defects, and change requests
- Comfortable working across legacy and modern systems simultaneously

1. CRM - Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Preferred, trainable)

- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE/CRM modules)
- Power Platform: PowerApps (canvas or model-driven), Power Automate
- Basic Dataverse knowledge (entities, relationships, security roles)

1. OutSystems (Preferred, trainable)

- Strong foundation in OutSystems (Service Studio, Integration Studio or equivalent)
- Understanding of OutSystems data model, logic (server actions, screen actions), and

integrations
- Experience integrating OutSystems apps with external REST/SOAP services and

databases
1. Document Generation (Preferred, trainable)

- Experience with iForms, Jasper Reports, or similar form/document-assembly tools
- XML experience, ideally with Ecrion (or similar document composition engines)
- Understanding of dynamic/templated document generation (merge fields, conditional

logic)
- PDF generation/manipulation exposure a plus
