Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive System Administrator with mandatory experience in the healthcare/hospital industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the hospital's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, systems, user access, data security, backups, and IT support, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware.
- Manage and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Monitor and maintain the hospital's network infrastructure, including LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Provide technical support to doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other hospital employees.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues promptly.
- Ensure regular data backup, restoration, and disaster recovery procedures are followed.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability to minimize downtime.
- Manage antivirus, endpoint security, and other IT security measures.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT equipment, software, networking, and system maintenance.
- Support hospital applications such as HIS/HMS, EMR/EHR, PACS, LIS, and other healthcare-related software.




- Maintain IT asset records, system documentation, network diagrams, and service reports.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of hospital and patient information.
- Assist in implementing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity standards.
- Perform regular system updates, patch management, and preventive maintenance.
- Respond to IT incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize disruption to hospital operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Executive, or similar role.
- Mandatory experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Valuable knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, LAN/WAN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Knowledge of backup solutions and data recovery procedures.
- Understanding of IT security, antivirus, endpoint protection, and access management.
- Experience supporting hospital information systems and healthcare applications will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond effectively to urgent IT issues.
