About An Alumni An Alumni is a UK-focused education consultancy helping students make informed decisions about studying in the UK. We assist students with university selection, course selection, admissions, scholarships, visa guidance and their overall study-abroad journey.

We are looking for a Student Counsellor who can understand students' academic and career goals and guide them towards suitable UK universities and courses.

Role: Student Counsellor – UK Education

As a Student Counsellor, you will be responsible for interacting with prospective students, understanding their educational goals and providing appropriate guidance regarding UK universities, courses, admissions, scholarships and the application process.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to build trust with students and parents.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel students regarding UK universities, courses and study options.
- Understand students' academic backgrounds, career goals and preferences.
- Suggest suitable universities and courses based on student profiles.
- Explain admission requirements, application procedures and important deadlines.
- Provide basic guidance regarding scholarships and tuition fees.
- Handle student queries through calls, WhatsApp, email and face-to-face meetings.
- Follow up with prospective students and maintain regular communication.
- Convert enquiries/leads into successful student applications.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.




- Coordinate with the admissions and documentation team when required.
- Build solid and professional relationships with students and parents.
- Stay updated about UK universities, courses, intakes and admission requirements.
- Achieve assigned counselling and conversion targets.
- Provide a positive and professional student experience throughout the counselling process.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good English speaking and writing skills.
- Confident in speaking with students and parents.
- Strong convincing and relationship-building skills.
- Good listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of UK education is preferred.
- Ability to handle multiple student enquiries and follow-ups.
- Target-oriented and motivated approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
