Key Responsibilities Inventory Management • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Monitor stock movements and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counts.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and take corrective actions.
Material
Receipt &
• Storage • Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and delivery documents.
- Ensure proper storage and identification of sheet metal raw materials, components, and consumables.
- Maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) practices where applicable.
Material
Issue &
• Production Support • Issue materials to production as per approved requisitions.
- Ensure uninterrupted material availability to support production schedules.
- Track material consumption and report variances. Documentation &
- ERP Management • Maintain Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), material issue records, and stock registers.
- Update inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports. Coordination • Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, and Logistics departments.
- Follow up on pending material receipts and shortages.
- Support audits and inventory reviews.
- Safety &
- Compliance • Ensure proper housekeeping and safety standards in the stores area.
- Follow company policies and inventory control procedures.
- Required Qualifications • Any Degree, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of experience in stores and inventory management, preferably in sheet metal or manufacturing industries.
- Required Skills • Knowledge of inventory management and store operations.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar).
- Good understanding of sheet metal raw materials and manufacturing consumables.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting.
- Solid organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) • Inventory accuracy.
- Material availability for production.
- Timely GRN and material issue processing.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies.
- Compliance with inventory and safety procedures.
