??? ???????We are looking for an experienced Senior Tekla Checker to take ownership of the final quality assurance of structural steel models and fabrication drawings.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that models and drawings are accurate, compliant, coordinated, and ready for client submission, while also supporting the team in maintaining high-quality project deliverables.

??? ????????????????? Independently perform complete checking cycles for Tekla structural steel models and drawings.

? Review models and drawings against structural and architectural design documentation.

? Identify and resolve modelling, detailing, dimensional, connection, and drawing discrepancies before submission.

? Ensure deliverables comply with project drawings, specifications, standards, and detailing requirements.

? Perform thorough quality checks and identify potential issues before client submission.

? Investigate recurring errors, perform root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.

? Guide and mentor junior checkers, detailers, and modelling teams to improve overall quality.

? Support project teams with delivery planning, scheduling, and technical risk identification.





? Take ownership of the final quality sign-off before models and drawings are released to the client.

✅ Ability to independently perform comprehensive model and drawing checking.

✅ Minimum 3 years of experience working on Australian steel detailing projects.

✅ Strong ability to identify inconsistencies between structural, architectural, model, and drawing information.

✅ Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication requirements.

✅ Excellent attention to detail with strong quality ownership and technical judgment.
