Roles And Responsibilities

- 1. Solid experience working in industrial automation and controls or a similar technical discipline.

- 1. Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers to understand the scope of work, project deadlines, planning, and execution.

- 1. Interpret project requirements based on internal specifications, customer specifications, and knowledge of product applications.

- 1. Conduct detailed field surveys to assess interfaces between new and existing systems.

- 1. Study, interpret, execute, and modify electrical schematics developed using EPLAN & AutoCAD based on IEC, NFPA standards.

- 1. Good understanding of industrial automation protocols such as Modbus, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Profibus, and ProfiNet.

- 1. Perform I/O checking based on PLC Input/Output lists generated as per electrical drawings.

- 1. Perform program modifications on PLC software using IEC 61131-3 programming languages (Ladder Diagram, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, Instruction List, Sequential Function Chart).

- 1. Design, tag, and test automation mimics on HMI / SCADA packages.

- 1. Perform in office installation, validation, and commissioning of AC/DC drives.

- 1. Configure equipment (PC, VMs, switch, firewall, PLCs, HMIs, CCTV, and supervision stations) for various projects.

- 1. Write technical notes for correcting PLC programs, HMI/SCADA screens, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and systems.

- 1. Work with the design office to produce equipment drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, cable interconnection drawings, and interface schedules.

- 1. Provide technical training to customers and employees when required.

- 1.



Support commissioning (off-site/on-site) for automation projects.

- 1. Interface with cross-functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing, and marketing/sales.

- 1. Carry out tasks within the agreed time and cost.

- 1. Develop service technical documentation and operating manuals. Timely complete and submit all required paperwork.

- 1. Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and implement necessary corrective actions.

- 1. Handle mechanical elements like installation, alignment, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

Qualifications

- - Bachelor’s degree in EEE, EIE, or ECE from a reputed institute.

- - Minimum of 10+ years of experience.

- - Fluency in English to join an international project team.

- - Willingness for short and medium-term national and international travel based on project requirements

- - Experience in PLC programming and HMI development for industrial projects (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi & Beckhoff).

- - Hands-on experience in DC Drives / LV AC Drives (Siemens, Rockwell & ABB).

- - Hands-on experience in electrical wiring and pneumatic connection installation.

- - Experience in extrusion, calendar, curing, and TBM operations of the Tyre industry will be an added advantage.
