We're looking for a Senior Accountant Revenue Accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, control-driven environment, brings deep expertise in Zuora Revpro and Revenue Accounting and is passionate about driving process excellence across a multi-system revenue landscape.

Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end revenue accounting under ASC 606 across License, Maintenance/Support, SaaS/Subscription, and Professional Services (TM and Fixed Fee) revenue streams.
- Manage and review Deferred Revenue and Unbilled Revenue (DFR/UBR) schedules, ensuring accurate roll-forwards, aging, and reconciliation to sub-ledgers and GL.
- Prepare and analyze Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO) disclosures, including current vs. non-current classification.
- Perform Revenue FLUX analysis with clear commentary on drivers (volume, price, timing, contract modifications, one-time adjustments) for month-end and quarter-end close.
- Execute and review journal entries, manual adjustments, contract-level true-ups, and inter-system reconciliations across Zuora Billing, Zuora Revpro, Salesforce CPQ, Certinia, and Oracle GL.
- Deliver balance sheet reconciliations for all revenue-related accounts and drive timely resolution of open items.




- Partner with Revenue Recognition Team, Order Management, Business Systems, and FPA on complex/non-standard contracts to ensure accurate revenue treatment from quote to revenue.
- Support internal and external audit requirements (SOX walkthroughs, control evidence, PBC schedules, and management responses) in partnership with our external auditors.
- Contribute to process transformation standardization of DFR/UBR accounts, single revenue engine architecture, and automation of manual touchpoints.

Requirements
- 58 years of progressive experience in Revenue Accounting, preferably within IT/SaaS/ITES, with a strong foundation in US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Hands-on working functional expertise in Zuora Revpro is a must; exposure to Certinia is preferred.
- Deep understanding of License Maintenance business, SaaS business and Professional Services (TM / Fixed Fee / Milestone-based) revenue models.
- Solid database management skills advanced MS Excel and working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Power BI for large-volume revenue data analysis.
- Strong critical thinking, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently under tight close deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with prior experience supporting US-based controllership teams being an added advantage.
- Passion for process improvement, automation, and continuous learning in a transforming finance environment.

Qualifications
- B.Com, M. Com, MBA (Finance) qualification; ASC 606 certification or equivalent training will be an added advantage.
