Role Description

Tasmmay is looking for an RCI-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with experience working with children, particularly in pediatric, developmental, school, or early-intervention settings.

The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing and providing individualized intervention for children with speech, language, communication, and related developmental needs. The role involves conducting assessments, planning and delivering individual and small-group therapy sessions, monitoring progress, maintaining documentation, and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.

The therapist will work closely with special educators, psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and other professionals to develop coordinated intervention plans for each child. The role may also involve supporting classroom communication, participating in multidisciplinary discussions, conducting parent education sessions, and contributing to the overall developmental goals of the child.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments.

Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.

Provide one-on-one and small-group speech and language therapy.





Work with children with developmental delays, Autism, and other communication needs.

Monitor and document each child’s progress.

Communicate therapy goals and progress with parents and caregivers.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.

Provide classroom-based communication strategies and recommendations.

Participate in parent education and training sessions.

Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.

Follow evidence-based practices in pediatric speech and language therapy.

Qualifications & Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing from a recognized institution.

Valid RCI registration/licence is mandatory.

Prior experience working with children is required.

Experience in early intervention, developmental centres, schools, or pediatric clinical settings will be preferred.

Good clinical skills in assessing and managing speech, language, and communication difficulties.

Knowledge of developmental delays, Autism, and other communication needs will be an advantage.

Knowledge of feeding, swallowing, and dysphagia management will be an added advantage.

Ability to create individualized therapy goals and maintain accurate documentation.

Robust interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
