Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Testing Intern with strong manual testing skills. Manual testing is the primary requirement. Basic knowledge of automation (Selenium · Java · TestNG · POM · BDD/Cucumber) is a bonus — not mandatory.

- Regression Testing
- Retesting

- Test case & defect writing
- Cross-browser testing
- Form & field validation

Selenium WebDriver with Java :-

• TestNG (@Test, @Before/After, @DataProvider)

- Page Object Model (POM)




- BDD / Cucumber (Gherkin — Given/When/Then)
- Locators: ID · Name · XPath · CSS · ClassName
- Waits: Implicit · Explicit · Fluent
- WebElement methods: click() sendKeys() getText()

Responsibilities

- Write and execute test cases for web and panel applications
- Perform functional, regression, retesting, and exploratory testing
- Report defects with clear steps, screenshots, and severity in Mantis
- Perform UI checks — labels, icons, alignment, placeholders, messages
- Retest fixed defects and verify no new issues are introduced
- Maintain test documentation throughout the sprint

Who We Are Looking For

- Degree / pursuing degree in CS, IT, or related field
- Strong eye for detail — finds bugs others miss
- Clear written English for defect descriptions
- Familiar with SDLC and testing fundamentals
- Any bug tracker experience — Mantis, Jira, etc.
- Curious, self-driven, and eager to learn
