Role Description The Social Media Content Creator & Multimedia Storyteller is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. The role involves planning and producing engaging content for social media platforms, including short videos, graphics, student and teacher stories, and event highlights that reflect the school’s vision and daily life.

The person in this role will manage social media calendars, capture and edit photo and video content on campus, and collaborate with academic and administrative teams to source stories and updates. Daily tasks include writing captions and posts, monitoring engagement and responding to community interactions, and analyzing performance metrics to refine content strategies.



The role also includes coordinating with designers, photographers, and vendors when needed to ensure brand consistency and high-quality output.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in social media content creation, including short-form video, photography, and basic graphic design.
- Ability to craft clear, engaging written content such as captions, posts, and short narratives tailored to different platforms.
- Experience using social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) and analytics tools to track performance and optimize content.
- Comfort with multimedia tools and software such as video editing applications, design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express), and mobile editing apps.
- Strong storytelling, observation, and interviewing skills to capture authentic student, educator, and school community stories.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with educators, students, and administrative staff.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple projects, and meet content deadlines in a rapid-paced school environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, Design, Marketing, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in education or youth-focused environments is an advantage.
