Job Title -Manager – SRE DevOps

Location: Remote, India (candidates should be based near a Concentrix location)

As Manager – SRE DevOps , you will play a pivotal role in building and leading Concentrix’s Site Reliability Engineering practice from the ground up. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, brings strong technical depth, and can inspire teams while shaping scalable, resilient, and AI-enabled engineering operations.

You will define the vision, establish the operating model, and partner across the organization to drive reliability, automation, and operational excellence at scale.

Responsibilities

- Build, define, and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the SRE function from the ground up.
- Establish core SRE foundations including SLO/SLI frameworks, error budgets, incident management practices, observability standards, and CI/CD best practices.
- Hire, lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing, globally distributed SRE team.
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear goals, delivery standards, and performance expectations across the team while removing blockers and enabling execution.
- Partner closely with senior technology leaders, business stakeholders, and peer engineering teams to align priorities and drive outcomes.
- Represent the SRE organization in leadership discussions and communicate strategy, progress, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Drive systemic improvements in reliability, scalability, performance, and operational maturity across platforms and services.




- Identify and eliminate operational toil through automation and process optimization.
- Lead the SRE team’s AI adoption strategy by identifying, piloting, and scaling AI-assisted tools across the reliability lifecycle.
- Champion the use of intelligent automation, AIOps, anomaly detection, automated remediation, and intelligent on-call capabilities.
- Establish DevSecOps governance standards and partner with security and compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Support audit readiness and compliance efforts related to frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
- Promote engineering accountability, agile delivery practices, and strong execution discipline across the SRE function.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps roles.
- 4+ years of people leadership experience managing SRE, platform engineering, or closely related technical teams.
- Proven success building, scaling, or transforming an SRE program from the ground up.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence across engineering, product, business, and executive stakeholders.




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience, with a track record of developing engineering talent.
- High emotional intelligence, strong judgment, and the ability to create clarity and momentum in fast-evolving environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration in large-scale environments.
- Robust understanding of observability concepts and tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and OpenTelemetry.
- Hands-on exposure to AI-assisted engineering or operations tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Gemini Code Assist, OpenAI Codex, LLM-based assistants, or AIOps platforms.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps tools and practices including secrets management, policy enforcement, vulnerability management, and security benchmarks.
- Proficiency with Git, GitOps workflows, and agile engineering practices.
