Site Engineer – Fresher (Civil / Electrical)

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech. in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Project/Site In-charge in day-to-day site execution and project activities.

Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams.

Monitor site work progress and report daily activities to the reporting manager.

Read and understand basic engineering drawings, layouts, BOQs, and specifications.

Assist in material inspection, measurement, and quantity verification.

Maintain daily progress reports, site records, checklists, and documentation.

Support testing, installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities as applicable to the project.

Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams for site material requirements.

Identify and report site issues, delays, and material requirements to the Project Manager.

Follow company and client requirements related to quality, safety, and site discipline.

Attend site meetings and assist in preparing progress updates.

Be willing to travel and work at project sites across Tamil Nadu.

For Electrical Engineering Candidates

Basic understanding of electrical systems, LT/HT equipment, panels, cables, earthing,



and electrical installations.

Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and automation equipment.

For Civil Engineering Candidates

Basic understanding of civil construction activities and engineering drawings.

Assist in foundation, equipment mounting, trenching, ducting, cable route, and other civil works related to electrical/utility projects.

Check site measurements and quantities as per drawings and BOQ.

Coordinate with civil contractors and monitor work progress.

Ensure civil works are completed as per approved drawings and specifications.

Skills Required

Good basic technical knowledge of Civil or Electrical Engineering.

Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word will be an advantage.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Willingness to work at project sites and travel as required.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Good problem-solving and learning attitude.

Strong sense of responsibility and site discipline.

Knowledge of Tamil will be an added advantage.

Eligibility

B.E./B.Tech./Diploma in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.

Freshers are encouraged to apply.

Candidates with 0–1 year of site/project experience may also apply.
