We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor with strong expertise in professional video editing, motion graphics, visual storytelling, and AI-powered video creation.

The candidate will work primarily on political campaigns, election campaigns, public outreach initiatives, social media campaigns, and rapid-response political content. The ideal candidate should understand Punjabi language, culture, political communication, and the visual style required to connect with a Punjabi audience.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit high-quality political campaign videos, election creatives, reels, shorts, interviews, speeches, documentaries, and social media content.
- Create engaging videos specifically for Punjabi-speaking audiences.
- Handle complete video production workflows from raw footage to final delivery.
- Create motion graphics, typography, transitions, visual effects, lower thirds, maps, charts, infographics, and campaign animations.
- Convert speeches, interviews, and political events into engaging short-form content.
- Create fast-turnaround breaking news, political updates, reaction videos, and campaign content during election periods.
- Use AI tools to generate, enhance, animate, upscale, dub, subtitle, and transform video content.
- Experiment with AI-generated visuals, avatars, voiceovers, backgrounds, animations, and other emerging video-generation technologies.
- Maintain consistent campaign branding, colours, typography, tone, and visual identity.
- Work closely with the creative, content, research, social media, and political strategy teams.




- Understand campaign briefs and independently translate concepts into compelling visual stories.
- Manage multiple projects and meet tight election-period deadlines.

- Excellent understanding of Punjabi language and culture.
- Strong understanding of Punjabi political communication and audience behaviour.
- Exceptional storytelling and editing sense.
- Strong knowledge of pacing, music, sound design, colour grading, typography, and visual composition.




- Ability to create both serious political communication and highly engaging social-media content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, X, and other digital platforms.
- Ability to work under high-pressure election timelines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Willingness to work extended hours and flexible schedules during election campaigns.

Preferred
- Previous experience with political parties, political consultants, election campaigns, news media, digital agencies, or government communication.
- Experience working on Punjab/Punjabi political campaigns.
- Knowledge of Punjabi fonts, typography, cultural references, music, and visual storytelling.
- Experience creating viral political/social media content.
- Portfolio demonstrating political, documentary, social media, or campaign video work.
