The Senior Video Editor is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for leading end-to-end video production for campaigns, research projects, and public communication initiatives. This role includes planning and editing video content, assembling raw footage, selecting sound and visuals, and ensuring narrative coherence aligned with project objectives.

Editor will also contribute creative ideas, maintain brand and message consistency, and adapt content for different audiences and formats.

Role & Responsibilities-

You’ll work at the intersection of video, political communication, and digital storytelling, transforming ideas, moments, and messages into content that connects with audiences.

- Edit reels, short-form videos, campaign films, speeches, interviews, event coverage, and other digital-first content for political leaders, public representatives, organisations, and campaigns.
- Go beyond technically strong edits by understanding the political and communication objective behind every brief,



ensuring that the final narrative remains both factually and contextually appropriate.
- Work creatively with raw footage, interviews, speeches, photographs, archival material, graphics, voiceovers, music, typography, subtitles, transitions, sound design, and visual effects to strengthen the message behind every piece of content.
- Work closely with writers, designers, strategists, and campaign teams to translate communication ideas into compelling visual narratives.
- Deliver high-quality creative work within demanding timelines, particularly around campaigns, political events, breaking developments, and other priority communication requirements.
- Explore AI-assisted editing, generative AI, automation, and emerging creative technologies to make content production faster, smarter, and more effective.

What we are looking for-

We’re looking for someone who combines technical editing expertise with strong visual instincts and an understanding of how digital narratives influence public communication.

- Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Vectr, or equivalent editing and creative software.
- A strong understanding of short-form and social-first video editing,



including what makes content effective across different digital platforms.
- Working knowledge ranging from basic to advanced across motion graphics, typography, colour correction, and audio editing.
- A sharp sense of pacing, visual storytelling, narrative structure, and audience engagement, along with the ability to integrate AI-generated material into video workflows where appropriate.
- The ability to interpret a creative brief, identify the central message or communication objective, and translate it into a clear and engaging visual story.
- Prior exposure to political communication, public affairs, digital campaigns, or social-media-led content is important for this role.
- Someone comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-driven environment where responsiveness, discretion, collaboration, and professional communication are essential. The role is office-based and carries strict expectations around the confidentiality of client, campaign, political, and internal material.
