Key Responsibilities
- Provide operate, admin, and consulting support on storage infrastructure and operating systems, ensuring compliance with technical standards and contract terms.
- Manage IT infrastructure and application infrastructure lifecycle support, including planning, installation, ongoing management, and de-installation, while adhering to ITIL standards.
- Resolve customer issues through various communication channels including telephone, email, and remote sessions, ensuring timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and key customers to resolve complex issues and prevent future problems through proactive problem management.
- Manage and lead technical/service relationships between the company, customers, and subcontractors/vendors.
- Perform change management tasks, including preparing, reviewing, implementing, and testing change records, and conducting risk and impact analysis.
- Ensure patch and security management compliance by applying necessary patches and monitoring environments for security.
- Maintain accurate and complete Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries.

- The Senior Storage Engineer will also collaborate with internal teams and end-user representatives to maintain and expand business relationships.
- This position requires a high level of technical expertise in storage solutions, with specific knowledge of Object, File, and Block storage systems, including cloud data management solutions.
- The engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of storage environments, while also providing technical input and recommendations during deal pursuits.
- The role demands proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex technical escalations.
- The Senior Storage Engineer is expected to maintain operational metrics and ensure compliance with industry standards like ITIL.
- This involves incident, change, and configuration management, as well as performing risk and impact analyses for proposed changes.

- The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 6-9 years of experience in storage administration support, with a strong emphasis on technical communication and troubleshooting skills.
- They should be able to work effectively in a 24x7 rotational shift environment and possess a zeal for customer service and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in storage administration support with strong expertise in Object, File, and Block storage systems.
- Technical knowledge of HPE storage solutions such as Alletra MP, Nimble, 3PAR, Primera, and MSA.
- Experience with operating systems like RHEL and SUSE, including installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in SAN, NAS technologies (Ethernet/iSCSI, FC, FCOE) and routine performance and capacity analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Certification in SAN, Storage, and ITIL is an advantage, along with knowledge of ServiceNow and backup software.
- Ability to work in a 24x7 rotational shift environment and collaborate effectively across technology teams.
