Senior Java Full Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team and work with cross-functional teams to solve real-world challenges for healthcare providers across the country.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, and enhance scalable web applications and technology platforms. You will contribute to both customer-facing features and internal engineering solutions that improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

- Participate in the complete Agile/Scrum lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and maintenance.
- Design and develop scalable, reusable, maintainable, and high-performance applications using Java and Spring.
- Develop and maintain distributed, database-driven web applications.
- Debug complex issues, review code, and conduct code reviews.
- Contribute to testing, quality, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Apply strong knowledge of OOP, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and software architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Management and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Independently solve complex and ambiguous problems while ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

- 6+ years of professional experience in large-scale web application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.




- Strong knowledge of Spring MVC and other Spring Framework technologies.
- Experience developing distributed, database-driven web applications.
- Strong debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment.
- Strong experience with REST APIs and web-based application development.
- Working knowledge of HTML5, XML, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with at least one frontend technology: React/React.js, Angular, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, QA, and other cross-functional teams.

Good to Have

- Experience in US Healthcare IT.
- Knowledge of healthcare terminology, workflows, and healthcare technology standards such as FHIR and CCDA.
- Experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails 2.x.
- Experience working with cloud platforms, microservices, distributed systems, or containerized applications.
- Experience with automated testing and CI/CD practices.
