We are seeking an experienced IFRS17 Manager to lead IFRS17 transformation, implementation, enhancement, and support initiatives for a global insurance organization. The role will drive end-to-end delivery across Finance, Actuarial, Data, Reporting, and Technology teams while ensuring compliance with IFRS17 accounting and reporting requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess robust knowledge of IFRS17 processes, insurance finance, actuarial systems, data transformation, stakeholder management, and large-scale program delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end IFRS17 implementation, enhancement, and support programs.
- Manage IFRS17 project governance, planning, budgeting, and delivery milestones.
- Coordinate with Finance, Actuarial, Risk, and Technology stakeholders.
- Drive IFRS17 accounting processes including GMM, PAA, and VFA methodologies.
- Manage CSM (Contractual Service Margin), Risk Adjustment, and Liability calculations.
- Oversee IFRS17 reporting, disclosures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ensure reconciliation between actuarial, finance, sub-ledger, and general ledger systems.
- Review and optimize IFRS17 operating models and business processes.
- Lead data quality, data lineage, reconciliation, and governance initiatives.
- Manage IFRS17 platform integrations with source systems and reporting solutions.
- Drive cloud modernization and transformation initiatives related to IFRS17 platforms.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, assumptions,



and dependencies.
- Support audit, compliance, and regulatory review activities.
- Mentor and manage cross-functional teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
- Present project status, risks, strategic recommendations, and roadmaps to senior leadership and client stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS17 processes and methodologies.
- Experience in managing large-scale insurance transformation initiatives.
- Proficiency in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
- Expertise in project governance, planning, and budgeting.
- Ability to drive data quality and governance initiatives.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Prudential / Life Insurance domain.
- Familiarity with IFRS17 platform modernization or cloud migration programs.
- Knowledge of Managed Services and L3 Support governance.
- Experience in large-scale actuarial and finance transformation initiatives.
- Understanding of regulatory reporting and financial close processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- MBA, CA, CPA, CFA, or Actuarial certifications preferred.
- 10-15+ years of overall experience.
- Minimum 5+ years in IFRS17 implementation or support programs.
- Experience leading global insurance transformation initiatives preferred.
