- Generate current business opportunities in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Identify and approach shippers, exporters, importers and potential corporate clients.
- Handle Shipper Sales and develop a strong customer pipeline.
- Sell Ocean Freight and Air Freight solutions.
- Understand customer requirements for Import, Export and Third-Country Shipments.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, references and market research.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations and regular follow-ups.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate freight rates/commercial terms with customers.
- Coordinate with operations and pricing teams for smooth shipment execution.
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Achieve assigned sales and revenue targets.
- Maintain proper sales pipeline and customer follow-up records.
- Support customers with solutions involving Customs, Transportation and Warehousing.
Must-Have Requirements
- 2–3 years of Freight Forwarding Sales experience.
- Hands-on experience in Shipper Sales.
- Experience generating recent business/revenue.
- Good understanding of Ocean Freight and Air Freight.
- Knowledge of Import and Export shipments.
- Strong client acquisition and relationship-management skills.
- Good communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
