1. Key Responsibilities

- Understand functional and business requirements for Helixta HRMS, EazeeSign, and AI TV OTT app modules, and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and UAT testing across web application, Android/iOS mobile apps, Android TV, and Fire Stick (Amazon Fire OS) platforms.

- Design and execute test cases for HRMS modules such as Attendance, Payroll/Salary processing, Leave Management, and CRM/Opportunity workflows.

- Validate EazeeSign workflows including document upload, signer flows, signing link generation/expiry, notifications, and audit trail.

- Test OTT/IPTV features across devices content playback (VOD/Live), EPG, subscription/licensing flows, device pairing, remote-control navigation on Android TV and Fire Stick, and cross-device consistency.

- Log, track, and retest defects in Jira (or equivalent tool) with clear reproduction steps, severity/priority tagging, and evidence (screenshots/screen recordings/logs).

- Lead/participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and release readiness/go-live checklist reviews, providing QA sign-off recommendations.

- Prepare and maintain QA documentation test plans, test case sheets, RTM (Requirement Traceability Matrix), and test summary/closure reports.

- Coordinate with developers, business analysts, and product stakeholders to close ambiguities and validate fixes quickly.

- Support API testing (Postman) for backend validations where UI testing alone is insufficient.

- Test AI/LLM-based features (e.g., ChatGPT-integrated chatbot/assistant modules) implemented across our products validate response accuracy, relevance, hallucination checks, prompt-response consistency, and edge-case/adversarial inputs, using tools such as Promptfoo, LangSmith, or DeepEval (or equivalent LLM-evaluation frameworks).

- Perform non-functional testing — load, stress, and performance testing — to validate application response time, stability under concurrent users, and OTT streaming performance (buffering/playback under load), using tools such as k6 or JMeter.

- Own weekly QA governance reporting — ticket counts, SOP adherence,



and cycle-time tracking — and present status updates to the QA Lead and stakeholders.

- Own end-to-end QA strategy and test planning for assigned product modules, ensuring adequate coverage across functional, regression, and non-functional testing.

- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright (web) and Appium (mobile) to improve regression coverage and release velocity.

- Mentor and guide junior/mid-level QA engineers on test design, tool usage, and defect triage best practices, and review their test cases and bug reports for quality.

- Flag high-risk areas proactively and escalate blockers in a timely manner.

Required

Experience

- 7 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Manual/Functional QA, preferably in a product-based or IT services company, including experience owning QA for complex, production-grade products.

- Extensive, demonstrated experience testing at least two of: web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), or Smart TV/OTT/IPTV applications, with the ability to independently define test strategy for recent platforms.

- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with sprint-based delivery, including experience driving QA processes within sprints.

- Prior exposure to HRMS/payroll systems, e-signature/document platforms, or OTT/media streaming platforms is a strong plus.

- Experience testing on real devices — Android phones, iOS phones, Android TV boxes, Amazon Fire TV Stick — is highly desirable.

- Prior experience mentoring or leading a small QA team, or acting as QA point-of-contact for a product/module, is highly desirable.

Required Technical

Skills

- Expert-level command of SDLC/STLC, test case design techniques, and defect life cycle, with the ability to define QA processes for new projects.

- Hands-on experience with Jira (or similar) for test/defect management.





- Strong hands-on experience with API testing tools — Postman (mandatory); solid understanding of REST APIs, status codes, and request/response validation.

- Intermediate to advanced SQL skills for backend/data validation.

- Familiarity with browser dev tools for web debugging (console/network tab).

- Strong understanding of mobile testing concepts (Android/iOS) — app installs, permissions, notifications, deep links.

- Hands-on experience with OTT/Smart TV testing concepts — playback buffering, adaptive bitrate, remote navigation, app performance on low-memory devices.

- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) for web test automation is required, including designing and maintaining automation frameworks; hands-on experience with Appium (or equivalent) for mobile app (Android/iOS) test automation is also required, and Selenium exposure is an added advantage.

- Hands-on experience with AI/LLM-based application testing is required, since ChatGPT/LLM-integrated features are implemented across our projects — working knowledge of prompt-testing, output evaluation, and tools like Promptfoo/LangSmith/DeepEval (or strong ability to quickly learn these) is expected.

- Hands-on experience with performance/load testing tools (k6 or JMeter) to independently design and execute load tests validating application response time, concurrent-user handling, and OTT streaming stability under load.

- Working knowledge of MS Excel (pivot tables, filters) for test tracking and reporting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi for defect reporting, stakeholder coordination, and cross-functional collaboration with developers and product managers.

- Ability to independently define test strategy, estimate QA effort, and mentor junior team members.

4.

Educational

Qualification

- B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / B.Sc. (IT/CS) or equivalent from a recognized university.

- ISTQB Foundation certification is required; ISTQB Advanced Level certification is a strong plus.

- Certification in AI/LLM testing or Prompt Engineering (e.g., from platforms like DeepLearning.AI, Coursera, or similar) is required / strongly preferred, given the AI-integrated nature of our products.
