About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer who can take ownership of software quality across the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in manual and automation testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure complete test coverage.
- Participate in requirement analysis, sprint planning, code reviews, and release activities.
- Perform API testing and validate backend services.
- Conduct database testing and verify data integrity.
- Identify potential quality risks and recommend improvements.
- Ensure applications meet performance, reliability, usability, and security expectations.
- Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to improving QA processes and best practices.
- Prepare test reports and communicate testing progress, risks,



and results to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–7 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
- Robust experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
- Proficiency with automation testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of API testing using tools such as Postman or equivalent.
- Good understanding of SQL and database testing.
- Experience with JIRA or similar defect/project management tools.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to independently manage testing activities and take ownership of product quality.
