Role Purpose /n The Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for independent credit assessment and ongoing risk management of asset finance and leasing exposures across a diverse portfolio of customers in APAC. The role supports origination, portfolio management, and funding activities, with a strong emphasis on engagement with external funders to ensure transactions, portfolios, and structures meet both internal credit standards and funder requirements. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n Credit Risk Assessment & Structuring /n /n
- Prepare clear, well-structured credit submissions for new and existing transactions
/n
- Assess customer, guarantor, and group credit risk, including cross-border group structures
/n
- Evaluate collateral and other risk mitigants, taking into account jurisdictional, legal, and enforceability considerations
/n
- Provide sound risk recommendations, including credit grading, approval conditions, structure considerations, and monitoring requirements
/n
- Review transaction structures to ensure alignment with internal credit standards and external funding requirements
/n
- Assess multi-currency exposures, guarantees, and structural risks associated with regional and cross-border transactions
/n /n /n Portfolio Management & Monitoring /n /n
- Manage and review a portfolio of asset finance and leasing exposures across APAC
/n
- Conduct annual reviews and event-driven credit reassessments
/n
- Identify emerging risks and early warning indicators, and recommend proactive mitigation strategies
/n
- Monitor portfolio trends, sector developments, and customer performance to support timely risk management actions
/n /n /n Funder-Facing Responsibilities /n /n
- Act as a key credit contact for external funding partners
/n
- Support various funding structures, including:
/n
- Sale of receivables
/n
- Structured and secured funding arrangements
/n
- Prepare funder-facing credit materials, including:
/n
- Term sheets
/n
- Credit summaries and portfolio reports
/n
- Transaction-specific risk analyses
/n
- Responses to funder due diligence, credit questions, and information requests
/n
- Ensure alignment between internal credit approvals and funder credit criteria, covenants, and reporting obligations
/n
- Support ongoing funder monitoring and reporting requirements as required
/n /n /n Regional & Cross-Border Expertise /n /n
- Apply strong understanding of Asian market asset finance and credit markets, including:
/n
- Local business practices
/n
- Regulatory and legal environments
/n
- Practical considerations relating to security, enforcement, and recoveries
/n
- Support business expansion into new APAC countries through credit assessment and market understanding
/n
- Contribute insight into local commercial practices, customer risk profiles, and structural considerations
/n
- Experience in Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore is viewed favourably, but is not essential
/n /n /n Stakeholder Engagement & Credit Governance /n /n
- Partner closely with Sales, Operations, Treasury, Legal, and other teams across the transaction lifecycle
/n
- Engage with customers as required to clarify financial performance, business models, ownership structures, and transaction details
/n
- Contribute to credit policy interpretation, enhancement, and governance initiatives
/n
- Provide guidance and informal mentoring to junior credit analysts
/n
- Support consistent and disciplined credit governance across multiple jurisdictions

- Support the onboarding, training and mentoring of current staff members.
/n
- Contribute to team tasks, projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.
/n
- Provide flexible support for broader team needs and other duties as required.
