Summary Position Summary Senior, Tax Services – Tax Transformation Consulting (TTC) - SAP MM/FICO/SD integration with Direct Or Indirect Tax experience

Are you looking to support US-based Deloitte Tax clients as they modernize and advance their tax functions? As part of Deloitte Tax Services India Private Limited, this role supports Deloitte Tax LLP teams on transformation initiatives across tax, process, and technology. The position focuses on SAP-enabled tax transformation work, including direct and indirect tax processes and cross-functional integration across finance, materials management, and sales and distribution.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to large-scale client initiatives in a complex global tax environment.

Work you'll do As a Senior, Tax Services on the Tax Transformation Consulting (TTC) team, you will be responsible for:

- Conduct user acceptance testing and compile test scenarios for newly built systems and processes.
- Identify defects and improvement opportunities in tax-related system and process designs.
- Gather and document business and tax requirements.
- Perform system fit-gap analysis for tax transformation initiatives.
- Support SAP tax transformation efforts involving FICO, MM, and SD integration.

Deloitte TTC teams include industry, tax, organizational change, technology, and co-sourcing specialists who can help make the necessary connections between our clients’ global strategies and the many options for carrying them out in the tax function.

Location: Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune Qualifications Required:

- 6-10 years of total experience.
- 5-8 years of implementation experience in SAP ECC 6.0 and S4 HANA with a focus on tax and SAP FICO/MM/SD integration.
- Experience in direct and indirect tax configuration, withholding taxes, local country indirect tax localization, value-added tax customization, and reporting.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and supporting test cycles, cutovers, go-live, Hypercare, user training, and documentation.
- Experience with User Exits.
- Experience with cross-functional integration across SD-FI and MM-FI.
- MBA or Chartered Accountant with experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and audit.

Preferred:
- SAP FICO/MM/SD (ECC or S4 HANA) certification.
- Experience with New GL, accounts receivable, accounts payable, materials management, logistics invoice verification, and asset accounting implementation.
- Experience with ONESOURCE Indirect Tax, Taxware Enterprise, Vertex O-Series, and systems such as Ariba, Coupa, Hybris, Open Text, and Read Soft.
- Team management experience.
