Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with hands-on experience in IoT projects who can bridge the gap between business requirements, product design, and technical implementation.

The ideal candidate should be strong in requirement gathering, wireframing, user-story creation, process flows, and functional documentation, along with a good understanding of APIs, system integrations, IoT architecture, and software development workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather, analyze, and document business and product requirements.
- Understand IoT-based products, device interactions, and connected-system requirements.
- Convert requirements into clear user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain wireframes, user flows, process flows, and functional prototypes.
- Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, Architecture, Development, QA, and stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into technically feasible solutions.
- Analyze APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Identify gaps, dependencies, edge cases, and technical constraints.
- Create BRDs, FRDs, user-story documents, workflow diagrams, and functional documentation.
- Conduct requirement walkthroughs with business and technical stakeholders.
- Support development, QA, UAT, and requirement validation.
- Manage requirement changes and keep documentation updated.

Required Skills

- 5–8 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst.
- Proven experience working on IoT-based projects/products.
- Strong wireframing and user-flow creation experience.
- Excellent user-story, acceptance-criteria, and functional-requirement writing skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.




- Good understanding of APIs, integrations, databases, data flows, and system architecture.
- Comfortable with technical discussions and engineering teams.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC.
- Experience with Figma, Balsamiq, Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, or similar tools.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.

Technical Understanding – Important The candidate should be technically inclined and comfortable discussing:
- REST APIs and third-party integrations
- Request/response structures and API dependencies
- Database concepts and data mapping
- IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and device-to-platform communication
- Data flow between devices, applications, APIs, and backend systems
- Authentication and authorization concepts
- Cloud/platform integrations
- Basic frontend and backend architecture
- System workflows and integration dependencies

This is not a developer role; however, the candidate should be technically strong enough to understand architecture discussions, challenge requirements where required, and communicate effectively with technical teams.

Preferred Experience

- IoT platforms, connected devices, smart systems, telemetry, or device-management solutions.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI or Postman.
- Agile product development experience.
