About OvenMantra

OvenMantra is a Pune-based bakery brand on a mission to bake honest, health-focused food for modern India. Our flagship range: whole wheat bread, multigrain bread, and Pav — is 100% whole wheat and zero maida, with no artificial preservatives and no refined sugar. We're setting up our first production facility in Mahalunge (near Hinjewadi) and building our founding team.

Role

As Senior Baker, you'll own the production floor- from dough to dispatch. You'll work directly with the founder to dial in recipes, lead the baking team, and hold our clean-label standards.

What You'll Do

- Lead daily production of whole wheat bread, multigrain bread, and Pav
- Operate and maintain a gas rotary rack oven and dough-side equipment
- Manage batch scaling, fermentation, proofing, and baking schedules
- Train and supervise junior bakers and helpers
- Maintain FSSAI hygiene and food safety standards
- Contribute to recipe trials and product development
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices in a professional kitchen or bakery environment.




- Experience leading a small team, with skills in scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
- Attention to detail, consistency in taste and texture, and commitment to transparent, clean-label ingredients.
- Diploma or certification in bakery, culinary arts, or related field preferred; prior experience as Head Baker or Senior Baker is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible hours

What We're Looking For

- 5–10 years in a commercial bakery
- Whole wheat / artisan bread experience preferred
- Familiarity with rotary rack ovens and spiral mixers
- Can manage a small team and work independently
- Based in or willing to relocate near Mahalunge / Hinjewadi, Pune
