Job Title: Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper /n Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Onsite) /n Work Schedule: 5 Days a Week | Indian Business Hours /n Employment Type: Full-Time /n About the Role /n We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting operations, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. This role requires hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a solid understanding of accounting best practices.

Experience with US GAAP and tax filing is highly desirable. /n This position is best suited for accounting professionals who can independently manage day-to-day accounting activities while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity. /n Key Responsibilities /n • Manage end-to-end bookkeeping and accounting functions. /n • Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and financial records. /n • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations. /n • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). /n • Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports. /n • Conduct bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. /n • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.



/n • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. /n • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders. /n • Assist with tax preparation, tax filing, and regulatory compliance activities. /n • Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. /n Required Qualifications /n • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. /n • 10+ years of proven accounting and bookkeeping experience. /n • Solid hands-on experience with QuickBooks (Mandatory). /n • Deep understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting processes. /n • Experience preparing financial reports and reconciliations. /n • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. /n • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. /n • Strong written and verbal communication skills. /n Preferred Qualifications /n • Knowledge of US GAAP. /n • Experience with US tax filing and compliance requirements. /n • Experience supporting US-based clients or businesses. /n • CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
