Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full time, on-site position based at Ambika Industries’ facility in Vapi.

The Senior

Accountant will manage end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory-related accounting. This role will prepare and review financial statements, support statutory and tax compliance, and coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audits. The individual will monitor budgeting and cost control,



analyze financial data to support management decisions, and implement process improvements in the finance function.

The Senior

Accountant will collaborate with operations and leadership teams, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of core accounting principles, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency in cost accounting, inventory accounting, and budgeting for a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Indian tax laws, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance, including audit coordination.
- Comfort with accounting software and ERP systems; strong Excel and data analysis skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally on-site.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (CA, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience as a Senior Accountant or similar role in manufacturing or industrial operations is highly preferred.
