About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Sector Head Water Resources to lead and grow the organization’s Water Resources practice across domestic and international markets.

The role will provide strategic, technical and operational leadership, with responsibility for business growth, project delivery, client relationships, team development and thought leadership across water resources planning, irrigation, river basin management and Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM).

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and strengthen the overall Water Resources practice, defining sector strategy, growth roadmap and market priorities.
- Provide technical leadership and oversight across Water Resources projects, ensuring quality, timely delivery and adherence to industry best practices.
- Monitor project performance, resolve critical technical issues and support project teams in successful execution.
- Drive Business Development through sector intelligence,



market opportunities and strategic client engagement.
- Identify emerging policies, technologies, funding programmes and industry trends to create new business opportunities.
- Build, mentor and develop high-performing multidisciplinary technical teams.
- Strengthen relationships with Government agencies, clients, development partners and key industry stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at high-level meetings, conferences, industry forums and client interactions.
- Develop thought leadership through white papers, technical publications, knowledge notes and industry presentations.
- Build skilled visibility and thought leadership through LinkedIn and other relevant social media platforms.
- Promote innovation, standardization, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across the Water Resources practice.
