Job Title: Software Engineer (IV) - Premium Engineer III

Location: Chennai

Work Type: Hybrid (4 Days work From Office)

Position Description:

- We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM Functional Consultant with strong expertise in SAP HANA, SAP Materials Management, SAP Ariba Sourcing, Supply Chain Collaboration, and SAP Fiori to support the design, implementation, integration, and optimization of Source-to-Pay processes in the automotive/manufacturing domain.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA MM, procurement processes, SAP Ariba, S/4HANA and non-SAP integrations, SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, BigQuery, and SAP Solution Manager.
- The candidate will be responsible for requirements gathering, business analysis, fit-gap analysis, functional design, integration analysis, testing, documentation, end-user training, and supporting global SAP implementations and post-go-live activities.
- The role also requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, IT teams, architects, ABAP/Fiori engineers, GCP teams, and implementation partners.

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA MM and SAP HANA.
- Experience with SAP Materials Management procurement processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, scheduling agreements, Directed Tier 2, subcontracting, and intercompany procurement.




- Hands-on experience with SAP Ariba Sourcing and Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC).
- Solid understanding of SAP Ariba integration with SAP S/4HANA and SAP MM.
- Experience in at least one full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA and Fiori implementation.
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry, particularly Source-to-Pay business processes.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, and Fit-Gap analysis.
- Ability to analyze current-state ("as-is") processes and develop future-state ("to-be") functional designs.
- Experience creating use cases, user stories, functional requirements, and other specification artifacts.
- Experience preparing Functional Design Documents (FDD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD).
- Ability to develop functional specifications and work closely with ABAP, Fiori, GCP/PCF, and other technical teams.
- Experience analyzing integration requirements between SAP and legacy/non-SAP systems.
- Strong experience in SAP functional, security, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Experience with data profiling, extraction, cleansing, cutover, and post-go-live activities.
- Strong root-cause analysis and hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with global business teams, IT teams, architects, product owners, and implementation partners.
- Experience supporting steady-state operations, post-go-live activities, and strategic solution development.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of SAP Analytics Cloud, BigQuery, and SAP Solution Manager is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant SAP certification is preferred.
