Role Description The Reformer Pilates Trainer is a full-time, on-site role based at HOP – House of Pilates in Bengaluru. The trainer will lead Reformer Pilates sessions, as well as other equipment and mat classes, for both group and personal training clients. Daily responsibilities include designing safe, effective, and progressive workout programs, demonstrating exercises with clear instruction, and adapting sessions to individual needs, goals, and physical limitations.
The role involves monitoring client form, supporting posture correction and mobility, keeping detailed session notes,
and collaborating with the studio team to deliver a consistent, high-quality client experience. The trainer will also help with client onboarding, maintaining a welcoming studio environment, and participating in wellness events and brand collaborations as needed.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess solid Pilates Instruction skills, including Reformer and equipment-based training.
- Candidates should possess Group Exercise skills for leading dynamic, safe, and engaging classes.
- Candidates should possess Physical Therapy or body mechanics understanding to support posture correction, mobility, and safe movement.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to create a welcoming, supportive, and professional client experience.
- Candidates should possess Teaching skills, including clear communication, cueing, and the ability to tailor sessions to varied fitness levels.
- Certification in Pilates (Reformer and/or comprehensive) from a recognized training institute is highly beneficial.
- Experience working in fitness, wellness, or rehabilitation settings is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as per class schedules.
- Strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and a commitment to ongoing professional development are expected.
