Greetings from /n /n We're Hiring Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Reciprocating Compressors /n /n Experience: 6+ Yrs /n Location: Hyderabad /n /n We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance multi-cylinder reciprocating compressors with integrated 75kW motors for HVAC and refrigeration applications. /n /n Key Responsibilities /n /n Design and develop compressor assemblies, including crankcase, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, and valve plates using SolidWorks. /n Create 3D CAD models, layouts, component stack-ups, and detailed manufacturing drawings. /n Design pressure-containing ductile iron castings/housings for operating pressures up to 28 bar (2.8 MPa). /n Develop motor cooling solutions (suction gas or water/glycol cooling systems). /n Engineer advanced lubrication systems, including oil pumps, channels, filtration, and oil separation.



/n Support and guide FEA and CFD activities for structural integrity, fatigue, pulsation, and gas-flow optimization. /n /n Requirements /n /n ✅Strong expertise in SolidWorks and GD&T.; /n ✅Experience in reciprocating compressor, HVAC, refrigeration, or rotating equipment design. /n ✅In-depth knowledge of Ammonia (R717) refrigeration systems and safety practices. /n ✅Understanding of hermetic/semi-hermetic motor design, thermal management, and sealing technologies. /n ✅Strong knowledge of ductile iron/aluminum castings, precision machining, and valve assembly design. /n /n If you're interested or know someone who would be a outstanding fit, please share your resume to [email protected] or tag suitable candidates in the comments.
