- Responsible for overall quality control and assurance of rubber products.
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process products, and finished products.
- Monitor production processes and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct and maintain dimensional and physical test reports.
- Handle customer complaints, rejection analysis, NCR, CAPA, and corrective actions.
- Perform root-cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, etc.
- Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and testing documents.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, and Maintenance teams for quality improvement.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing instruments.
- Conduct internal quality audits and support customer audits.
- Implement continuous improvement and reduce rejection/rework.
- Train and guide quality inspectors and production personnel
Preferred candidate profile
- Candidates with 25 years of experience in rubber manufacturing quality control.
- Experience in rubber products, rubber moulding, extrusion, or compounding preferred.
- Good knowledge of rubber testing and inspection methods.
- Hands-on experience in dimensional inspection and laboratory testing.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 7 QC Tools, 5 Why, Fishbone, CAPA and NCR.
- Experience in handling customer complaints and quality audits.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and quality documentation.
- Robust problem-solving, communication and team-management skills.
