Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelors/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1.5-3 years of experience in QA testing (manual and automation).
- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver and Appium.
- Knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
- Strong SQL skills, including writing and debugging queries for data validation.
- Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing methodologies (Agile, Scrum).
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages like Java or Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).

Roles and responsibilities:

- Manual Testing:
- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and design documents to create test cases and scenarios.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.




- Ensure data accuracy and consistency through rigorous backend validations using SQL.
- Log, track, and report defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Automation Testing
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Appium and Rest Assured.
- Build and maintain automation frameworks for mobile applications.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.

- Collaboration
- Work closely with development, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure testing is aligned with project goals.
- Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements during design reviews.

- Test Management
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
- Identify and document test metrics, test coverage, and test results.

- Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with the latest testing trends, tools, and best practices.
- Actively contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies.

'About Them' - Candidates should have at least 1.5–4 years of QA experience in manual and automation testing. Automation experience will be an added advantage. The candidate should also have good logical and analytical skills, along with a basic understanding of Java and MySQL. Candidates should have QA experience and good problem solving skills along with basic DS understanding.
