About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience and demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities. This role involves overseeing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring adherence to best practices, and maintaining high standards of code quality, performance, and security.

The Associate Technical

Lead will take ownership of system design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, while mentoring and guiding a team of developers. Collaboration with stakeholders, including technical leads and project managers, is essential for translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Qualifications The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.



They should have a proven track record of at least 5 years in software development, with a strong emphasis on Python programming and microservices architecture.

Experience in leading and mentoring development teams is essential, along with a deep understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and best practices in software engineering. Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Candidates should also possess a solid understanding of AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source models such as DeepSeek and Llama.

Strong problem-solving skills, expertise in performance optimization, and experience in rapid prototyping through Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) are critical. Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership qualities are vital for success in this role.

Responsibilities The Associate Technical Lead will be responsible for a wide range of technical and leadership duties, including:

- Overseeing and enforcing SDLC best practices, ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows.
- Mentoring and leading a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including Technical Leads and Managers, to finalize design documents such as wireframes, database schemas, pseudocode, and architectural diagrams.
- Designing and maintaining scalable application architectures, including microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerization using Docker.
- Optimizing code performance, security, and maintainability to meet high-quality standards.




- Conducting thorough code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps practices, and ensuring security compliance during deployment processes.
- Managing technical debt and implementing performance enhancements to improve system efficiency.
- Executing time-bound Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) using open-source frameworks and diverse technology stacks to validate innovative solutions.
- Monitoring production systems, managing scalability, and optimizing resource utilization for deployed applications.
