About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate Technical Lead – Software Engineering to join our dynamic team in Mangalore. This leadership role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong emphasis on full software development lifecycle management, performance optimization, and technical excellence. The ideal candidate will take ownership of designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining our innovative platforms, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards.

This position also involves mentoring junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and secure software solutions.

The Associate Technical

Lead will play a critical role in driving technical strategy, supporting DevSecOps practices, and ensuring seamless deployment and operation of our systems.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.



The ideal applicant will have a proven track record with at least 5 years of extensive Python development experience, coupled with experience in leading and mentoring development teams. A strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and best practices in software engineering is essential.

Familiarity with Python frameworks such as Django and Flask, as well as microservices architecture, is required. Knowledge of AI Large Language Models (LLMs), including API-driven models like OpenAI and Claude, as well as open-source options such as DeepSeek and Llama, is highly desirable. The candidate must demonstrate expertise in performance profiling, code optimization, and debugging, along with experience in building and executing rapid Proof-of-Concepts (POCs).

Familiarity with AWS cloud services, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance is also necessary. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Oversee and enforce best practices throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), ensuring comprehensive documentation and adherence to development workflows. Lead and mentor a team of three or more developers, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, and fostering skilled growth. Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Technical Lead and Manager, to finalize design documents encompassing wireframes, database schemas, pseudocode, and architecture diagrams.

Design and maintain scalable application architectures, leveraging microservices, cloud infrastructure, and containerization technologies like Docker to ensure high availability and performance. Optimize code for security, performance, and maintainability,



adhering to industry standards and best practices. Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and enforce architectural guidelines.

Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines, implement DevSecOps practices, and ensure compliance with security standards. Manage technical debt effectively, executing performance improvements and resource management strategies. Execute time-sensitive Proof-of-Concepts using open-source frameworks and emerging technologies to validate innovative solutions.

Monitor production systems for scalability and resource utilization, implementing necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
