We are hiring a Python Developer specializing in GUI development and test & measurement instrument automation. The ideal candidate will build intuitive control interfaces, automate complex measurement workflows, and integrate multiple instruments into cohesive test systems. This role is perfect for engineers who enjoy blending software with electronics and creating reliable automation solutions for R&D; and production environments.

Key ResponsibilitiesGUI Development

Build desktop or web-based GUIs using PySide6/PyQt6, DearPyGui, or NiceGUI for instrument control dashboards, data visualization, and workflow automation.Instrument Automation

Develop automation scripts for oscilloscopes, SMUs, power supplies, DAQs, electronic loads, multimeters, impedance analyzers, etc.SCPI/VISA Integration

Implement communication over USB, GPIB, RS‑232, Ethernet using PyVISA, serial libraries, or vendor SDKs.Data Acquisition & Logging

Build reliable data pipelines for real-time measurement, logging, and analysis.Testing & Validation

Write unit tests, perform instrument-level validation, and ensure reliable long-duration automation runs.System Integration

Work with hardware engineers to integrate sensors, actuators, motors,



and controllers into automated test benches.Documentation

Prepare user manuals, API documentation, and test procedures.

Required Technical Skills

Python (3.x) – strong command of OOP, async programming, multithreadingGUI Frameworks: PySide6/PyQt6, DearPyGui, NiceGUI

Instrument Control: SCPI, PyVISA, serial, TCP/IP

Data Visualization: Matplotlib, Plotly, PyQtGraph

Automation Frameworks: pytest, unittestVersion

Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab

Basic Electronics Knowledge: voltage/current measurement, instrument ranges, safety

Optional: experience with motor controllers, PLCs, CAN, Modbus

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field2–5 years of experience in Python-based automation or test bench developmentExperience working with lab instruments (Keithley, Tektronix, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, etc.)

Preferred Experience

Building full test automation suites for R&D; or production

Developing dashboards for real-time waveform or sensor monitoring

Working with SMUs, DAQs, power analyzers, oscilloscopes

Experience in automotive, battery testing, motor testing, or electronics validation labs
