Any Graduate / Diploma in Engineering (Chemical/Mechanical preferred) or B.Com with relevant experience

Experience

2 to 5 years of experience in purchase of chemicals/consumables, preferably in

PUF Panel, UPVC, Polycarbonate, Plastics or allied manufacturing industry

JOB PURPOSE To manage day-to-day purchase of raw chemicals and consumables required for the PUF Panel, UPVC Roofing and Polycarbonate Sheet manufacturing lines, ensuring uninterrupted production at the best possible cost,

quality and delivery terms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle purchase of PUF chemicals (Polyol, MDI/Isocyanate) and other raw chemicals used in panel manufacturing

Handle purchase of consumables for UPVC Roofing Sheet and Polycarbonate Sheet manufacturing

(resins, additives, colour masterbatch, packing material, etc.)

Identify,



develop and evaluate vendors for chemicals and consumables; get multiple quotations and negotiate rates

Raise Purchase Orders in SAP/ERP as per approved indents and rate contracts

Coordinate with Production and Stores teams to plan purchases as per production schedule and avoid stock-outs

Track order status, follow up with vendors for on-time delivery, and resolve delays

Verify vendor invoices, quality of material received and coordinate with Quality/Stores for any rejections or returns

Maintain purchase records, price history, and vendor comparison data

Support cost-saving initiatives through rate negotiation and alternate vendor development

Ensure compliance with company purchase policy and documentation (PO, GRN, indent approvals)
