SaaS Project Manager

Mid-Senior Level | Software / SaaS Delivery

Position Summary

We are seeking a mid-senior level SaaS Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of software projects from requirements through launch. This role will work closely with product, engineering, QA, design, customer-facing teams, and leadership to ensure projects are clearly defined, properly prioritized, and delivered on time and to a high standard.

Experience & Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years working directly in SaaS, software development, or technology environments.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements, design, development, QA/UAT, release, and post-launch support.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent software projects, workstreams, or client implementations.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination.
- Experience working directly with software developers, QA teams, product managers/business analysts, and UI/UX teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; must be able to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain detailed project plans, action items, dependencies, risks, and deadlines.
- Ability to identify blockers early, escalate appropriately, and drive teams toward resolution and accountability.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced SaaS environment where priorities may evolve quickly.

Key Responsibilities

- Own project delivery from kickoff through production release, ensuring scope, timelines, owners, dependencies, and deliverables are clearly defined.
- Translate business and product requirements into actionable project plans and coordinate execution across technical teams using an industry standard project planning software.




- Facilitate project meetings, sprint planning, status reviews, UAT coordination, launch readiness, and post-launch follow-up.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, timelines, task assignments, status updates, risk logs, and decision records.
- Track deliverables and proactively follow up with team members to ensure commitments and deadlines are met.
- Identify scope changes, risks, resource management, and dependencies before they impact delivery.
- Provide concise, executive-level project status reporting, including progress, risks, blockers, decisions needed, and next steps.
- Coordinate communication between product, engineering, QA, customer success, implementation, and other business stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of project management processes, delivery standards, documentation, and team accountability.

Preferred

- Experience with project management and development tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Experience supporting B2B SaaS platforms, enterprise software implementations, or configurable/multi-tenant software products.
- Experience working with distributed or international development teams.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or comparable project management certification is a plus but not required.
