Company Description Xcelevate Skills Foundation is a mission-driven organization focused on unlocking excellence in underprivileged youth through intensive, fully residential, Gurukul-style skilling programs. The foundation identifies talented individuals who have historically lacked access to opportunities and equips them with skills that the industry actively needs, creating sustainable talent pipelines where performance matters more than pedigree.

Over the past four years, Xcelevate has placed over 80 apprentices in roles across coding, quality, operations, and IT services, with multiple promotions and minimal attrition. Initially launched through partnerships with other NGOs, Xcelevate became an independent organization on India’s Independence Day, 2024, and views its work as a core nation-building effort. The organization collaborates with nonprofits, corporates, and leaders who believe that employability is a powerful form of empowerment and that uplifting youth is a strategic leadership responsibility.

Role Description The Program Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, responsible for end-to-end ownership of Xcelevate’s residential skilling programs. This role oversees program design, planning, and execution, including curriculum scheduling, coordination with trainers and mentors, and ensuring that learning translates into practical, work-ready capability.

The Program

Manager monitors learner progress, manages assessments, and implements structured feedback and support systems to maintain high standards of performance and discipline.



They collaborate closely with corporate partners and nonprofits to align program outcomes with industry needs, support apprentice placements, and maintain robust stakeholder relationships. The role also includes managing day-to-day operations of the residential program, including logistics, safety, and well-being, while continuously improving processes based on data and feedback.

Qualifications

- Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, and execution of multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Experience in education, training, or talent development, with the ability to translate industry requirements into practical learning outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to work with nonprofits, corporate partners, trainers, and learners.
- Operational and administrative skills for managing residential programs, including logistics, scheduling, and compliance with institutional standards.
- Proficiency in using basic digital tools (spreadsheets, presentations, communication platforms) for tracking, reporting, and coordination.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact, youth empowerment, and performance-focused inclusion.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, education, social sciences, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in managing cohorts, bootcamps, or intensive learning programs is highly beneficial.
