Requirements
- Understanding observability concepts strong grasp of the observability pillars - logs, metrics, traces familiarity with distributed systems, microservices and their challenges
- Experience with Observability tools
- Hands on knowledge of tools like New Relic, Splunk, Grafana, VM and Open Telemetry
- Exposure to trends in observability frameworks and standards.
- Engineering experience
- Ability to collaborate with engineering,
understanding their points and translate into product needs.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles, CICD and DevOps.
- Exposure to APIs, Backend Apps.
- Data Analysis
- Ability to interpret patterns, anomalies and opportunities from complex sets of data.
Qualifications
- Min 2 years of Product management experience.
- Technical education: degrees in computer science, engineering or equivalent experience
- Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions.
- Understanding how observability impacts business like availability/reliability, customer Satisfaction and business impact.
- Prior experience in observability or devops proven track record in building and managing observability systems.
- Prioritisation and decision-making skills demonstrating how these have taken into account business priorities, complexity, dependencies and value.
