The role A grounded drone earns nothing, and a spare that is three weeks away is a station standing still. You negotiate the manufacturer agreements, build the spares chain, manage battery supply and disposal, and own the supplier relationships that decide whether the network actually stays in the air.

Key responsibilities

- Negotiate manufacturer agreements covering airframes, delivery, warranty and service commitments
- Build and run the spares chain: forecast by district, hold the right inventory, and track delivery performance
- Manage battery procurement, testing and end-of-life handling, with safety compliance throughout
- Specify and source the station kit and field equipment, and get it delivered to schedule
- Hold suppliers to their service levels and escalate when they slip
- Keep supplier scorecards and run honest quarterly reviews on cost, quality and delivery
- Keep procurement timelines aligned to the station commissioning plan





Eligibility
- Six to nine years in procurement, supply chain or vendor management
- Experience in equipment, machinery, electronics or another hardware-intensive industry
- Robust negotiation and contract management, including service and warranty terms
- Technical literacy — you can read a datasheet and know which numbers matter
- Comfortable building flexibility into a contract for a market that is still forming
