Key Responsibilities

- Design and document HLD/LLD for enterprise firewall and perimeter security solutions.
- Develop architecture standards, design patterns, engineering guidelines, and technical roadmaps.
- Design firewall policies, NAT, VPN, DMZ, segmentation, and secure connectivity solutions.
- Lead architecture reviews, design validation, and engineering governance.
- Partner with Security, Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams.
- Support firewall lifecycle management, migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
- Review implementation plans and ensure alignment with approved designs.
- Troubleshoot complex security/network issues and provide technical leadership.
- Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements using Python/Ansible .

Required Skills





- Strong enterprise experience with Fortinet FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, SD-WAN, HA, and Security Fabric .
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, routing & switching, DMZ, segmentation, and load balancing .
- Experience with Arista/Arista CVP and Cisco networking.
- Strong understanding of enterprise firewall architecture and perimeter security.
- Experience with Linux/UNIX administration.
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture .
- VMware experience/certification preferred.
- Check Point experience is a plus.
- Fortinet certifications such as FCP, FCSS, or FCX are preferred.
- Financial services or other highly regulated industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, architecture, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Education & Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant network/security engineering experience.
- Proven experience designing and supporting enterprise firewall and network security environments.
