Work Mode: Remote / Work from anywhere (calls-based role)
About the Role:
We are hiring an Outreach Intern to drive outreach for our EdTech platform. The role involves reaching out to students, institutions, and other relevant prospects over email and phone, and - importantly - following up on and converting inbound leads into confirmed registrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outreach via email and phone calls to students, colleges, coaching institutes, and relevant partner organizations.
- Directly reach out to and engage students who are potential participants.
- Build connections with organizations for potential partnerships, sponsorships, or promotion.
- Build and maintain an outreach list/database of prospects and track outreach status.
- Draft and send outreach and follow-up emails; maintain a professional, consistent tone.
- Handle and follow up on inbound leads - respond promptly and keep leads engaged.
- Own the conversion/closing process for leads:
address queries, resolve objections, and guide prospects through to registration.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, emails, and lead status in a shared tracker (Excel/CRM).
- Coordinate with the Content Writer for content/promotional support around outreach campaigns.
- Report daily/weekly outreach numbers and conversion updates to the reporting manager.
Requirements:
- Comfortable making outbound calls and handling email communication confidently.
- Positive spoken and written English/Hindi communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets for tracking.
- Self-driven, organized, and comfortable with follow-ups and target-driven work.
- Prior experience in sales, calling, or outreach is a plus but not mandatory.
What Success Looks Like
Beyond just outreach volume, this role is measured on lead conversion - turning inquiries and inbound interest into confirmed sign-ups/partnerships.
