Role & responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

- Develop and execute the manufacturing and operations strategy in line with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Take end-to-end ownership of production performance, capacity utilisation, productivity, cost, quality and delivery.

Production & Manufacturing Excellence

- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing processes including material readiness, cutting, preparation, stitching, assembly, finishing and final quality.
- Ensure production plans are achieved without compromising quality or customer requirements.
- Drive line balancing, capacity planning, manpower optimisation and productivity improvement.
- Establish a strong Right First Time / Quality First culture across production.

Industrial Engineering,



Automation & Productivity

- Work closely with IE to improve methods, line balancing, manpower productivity and process efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for automation, mechanisation and process simplification, particularly in repetitive and manpower-intensive operations.

Key Requirements

- 15+ years of relevant experience in production/operations management, preferably in premium leather goods, handbags, accessories or other high-end manufacturing environments.
- Solid understanding of leather goods manufacturing and associated production processes.
- Proven experience managing large teams and multi-unit manufacturing operations.
