Lending Operations Analyst Real Estate Lending

About the Role

We are seeking an Operations Analyst to support the day-to-day execution of the real estate lending platform. This role sits at the intersection of lending operations, capital markets, servicing, and technology, helping ensure that loans move efficiently from origination through funding, sale, and servicing.

Key Responsibilities

Loan Funding & Warehouse Operations

- Coordinate final loan funding activities and ensure timely disbursement of borrower funds.
- Work closely with warehouse lending partners and internal teams to facilitate loan funding and collateral movement.
- Monitor funding pipelines and track loan status through closing and post-closing processes.
- Assist with warehouse reporting, collateral tracking, and funding reconciliations.

Servicing & Data Management
- Manage loan boarding and data transfers to third-party servicers.




- Perform quality control reviews to ensure loan data is complete and accurate prior to servicing transfer.
- Coordinate with servicing partners to resolve data discrepancies and operational issues.
- Maintain servicing-related tracking reports and operational dashboards.

Loan Sale & Trade Support
- Support loan trade and loan sale activities by preparing data files, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Track loan pools through diligence, sale, settlement, and post-sale processes.
- Assist in investor, lender, and counterparty reporting requirements.
- Maintain loan inventory and pipeline reporting.

Qualifications

Required

- Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Operations, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience in operations, financial services, lending, banking, mortgage, fintech, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups, pivot tables, data analysis, and reconciliation.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across teams.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and operational processes.

Preferred
- Experience with mortgage lending, real estate lending, warehouse lending, loan servicing, or capital markets operations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience with reporting tools, business intelligence platforms, or data visualization software.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup or growth-stage company.
