About the Project – Bharat Defence Tech Show The intern will primarily support the backend operations and execution of Bharat Defence Tech Show (BDTS), a major defence and technology event bringing together stakeholders from the defence, aerospace, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, space technology, government, armed forces, industry, startups, and academia.

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Executive Intern to support the backend operations and execution of BDTS. The intern will be involved in registration management, delegate and exhibitor coordination, data handling, communication, documentation, on ground support and other operational activities.

The intern will be involved in supporting the BDTS Strategic Colloquium Series, which connects regional defence and technology ecosystems with the larger BDTS platform.

This opportunity is ideal for students and graduates who are passionate about Defence, Aerospace, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Emerging Technologies and the future of national security — and want to gain hands-on experience by working behind the scenes of a major industry platform.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist in day-to-day operational activities related to BDTS.

· Maintain and update delegate, attendee, and exhibitor databases.

· Support registration, confirmation, and follow-up activities.





· Coordinate with clients, exhibitors, vendors, and other stakeholders.

· Assist in managing meetings, sessions, round tables, and event schedules.

· Maintain Excel/Google Sheets trackers, reports, and project documentation.

· Support communication and follow-ups through email and phone.

· Assist with badge, registration, check-in, and other on-ground event operations.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

Requirements

· Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

· Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

· Good coordination and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
