Role Description The On-Site Machining Head is a full time, hybrid role based in Vadodara, with a combination of on-site work at client locations and some work-from-home flexibility. The role oversees planning, execution, and supervision of on-site machining, pipe cold cutting and beveling, flange facing, and related in-situ operations, ensuring jobs are completed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating project requirements with clients, preparing work scopes and resource plans, guiding technical teams,



and monitoring machine and tool utilization.

The On-Site Machining Head will review technical drawings and site conditions, resolve operational issues, support equipment maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards. The role also includes mentoring team members, optimizing processes, and contributing to continuous improvement in service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

- Strong background in on-site machining, pipe cutting and beveling, flange facing, and in-situ machining operations, ideally in refinery, pipeline, power plant, or heavy industrial environments.
- Experience in piping fabrication, erection, and commissioning, with the ability to interpret technical drawings, isometric diagrams, and engineering specifications.
- Knowledge of equipment hydro testing, pneumatic testing, and bolting solutions (torquing and tensioning), with a focus on safety and reliability.
- Proficiency in planning and supervising field teams, coordinating multiple projects, and managing timelines, resources, and vendor interactions.
- Familiarity with portable and stationary machine tools, including selection, setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with clients, engineers, and site personnel.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety practices, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in industrial field operations.
